How can I register for gifts with west elm?

It's easy – and free! Simply visit us online or in store. To register online, click "Create Your Registry" to begin. To register in store, head to your nearest store or call to set up a private appointment in store with one of our registry specialists.

When should I register?

We recommend registering about three months before your wedding or event. This allows family and friends enough time to purchase gifts for pre-wedding parties and bridal showers.

What should I register for?

You can register for any product on the website that offers an “add to gift registry” button. A good tip is to register for a large variety of products in a wide range of prices, and be sure to consider your quantities. For example, dinnerware is best requested in sets of 8-12, while two matching lamps are always better than one! Think outside the box, and give your guests the chance to buy you a set of storage baskets, a throw for the sofa or even wall art.

How do I let my family and friends know I've registered at west elm?

You may email your friends and family via our email service or share your gift registry on Facebook. You’ll find these links on the “Manage Registry” page.

Can residents of other countries register online?

At present, we are unable to provide this service to registrants with addresses outside the UK.

What product information is provided on the west elm website?

You'll find comprehensive information about each item that appears in our online registry assortment, including materials, dimensions and recommended care.

Can I make changes to my registry after I've created it?

Yes, you can access your registry online to add or delete products, and change quantities, change shipping address, change the date or title of your event, share your registry with more guests via email or Facebook, or see what has been bought and is on its way to you.

How long do registries stay active?

Your registry will remain active online indefinitely unless you choose to delete it.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

If you've forgotten the password to your account, you can click on “Forgot Password?” link on the “Sign In” page and a new password will be sent to your nominated email address.

I’ve forgotten my Guest Access Code. What should I do?

Guest Access Codes are optional and are designed to ensure your registry is only visible to those with whom you wish to share it. You’ll need to provide your guests with your Guest Access Code when you share your gift registry with them. If you've forgotten the Guest Access Code, you can find it by visiting the “Update Registry Profile” page.

Where can gifts from my registry be purchased?

Gifts from your registry can be purchased online or in store. Alternatively, guests may phone our Customer Care line for assistance Toll Free on 0800 404 9780 from 8:30 am to 7 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 8:30 am – 8 pm Thursday and 12 pm – 6 pm Sunday.

I have guests coming from the UK. Can they purchase from my registry?

At this time, only customers with UK addresses can purchase for UK registrants.

Are there any items that can't be added to a registry?

Most products on the west elm website can be added to a west elm Gift Registry. However, certain items cannot be added, including but not limited to:

-Seasonal and sale items available in limited quantities and for a limited time.

-Gift cards.

What happens if an item I’ve added to my registry becomes unavailable?

Adding an item to your Gift Registry does not reserve that item. Guests will only be able to purchase in-stock or on-order items from your registry. Guests will clearly see the stock availability status when they add a product to their shopping cart. Registrants can monitor the stock status of their items in the “Manage Registry” page and delete or add products at any time.

How often should I check my registry?

Your registry is updated within 24 hours after an order is placed online and within 48 hours after an item is purchased in one of our stores. It’s worth checking in to your account regularly – new products are added online often and you might see something new to add to your list!

How do I know that an item has been purchased from my registry?

When someone purchases an item from your registry online or by phone, the purchase will be noted on your registry list as “completed”. This means it’s on it’s way to you! For store purchases, the store associate updates your registry to reflect the purchase.

How do I make purchases to complete my registry?

If you’d like to complete your registry after your event, simply add any remaining registry items to your online shopping cart along with any other products you'd like from westelm.co.uk and check out as a customer.

When will I receive my gifts?

As soon as your gift is purchased, it will be delivered to the shipping address specified, according to our shipping timetable. If the item is on order at the time of purchase, it will be dispatched as soon as it is in stock.

Will my items arrive gift-wrapped?

Your guests can select the gift wrap option just before checkout. Our beautiful signature gift wrap is priced at £6.95 per item.

Can I return gifts after my event?

Of course! For items purchased from a gift registry, we will provide a refund or exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later.

Where can I purchase gifts from west elm's Wedding & Gift Registry?

Gifts can be purchased online or in store. To find a registry, simply enter the name of a registrant or co-registrant and, if it is a password-protected registry, enter the Guest Access Code provided to you by the registrant. Alternatively, you can phone our Customer Care line Toll Free on 0800 404 9780 from Monday – Sunday 9:00am to 9:00pm.

As an international resident, can I order items from the west elm Gift Registry for delivery within the UK?

At this time, only customers with UK addresses can buy for UK registrants.

To whom will a registry gift be shipped?

Our registrants indicated their shipping preferences when they registered. Your gift will be shipped directly to the address specified by the registrants unless you unselect “Ship to Registrant” during the checkout process. Then you can choose to ship to your own address and hold it until the event or deliver in person. Click here for details of our shipping and processing charges.

When will my gift be delivered to the registrant?

As soon as your gift is purchased, it will be delivered to the registrant according to our shipping timetable. If the item is on order, this will be indicated in your cart; in that case it will be dispatched as soon as it is in stock. You can track your order status at any time by logging into your Account.

How do I find out if someone is registered with west elm?

To search for a registry online, simply click Find a Registry and search by the registrant’s name. Alternatively you can request the registrant email you a link to their registry.

If I am purchasing a gift, do I need a password to access a registry?

Some registrants choose to keep their Gift Registry private and provide family and friends with a Guest Access Code. Registrants must advise gift-givers of this code in order for them to gain access to the registry online.

I forgot the Guest Access Code. What should I do?

Please contact the registrant directly. To protect our registrants' privacy, west elm discloses registry access code information only to registrants.

Is a message enclosed with gifts purchased online?

When you check out, you'll have the option of typing in a personal message that will be included with the gift.

Do you gift wrap items purchased from the Gift Registry?

Yes, you can choose to have your gift beautifully wrapped in our signature gift wrap at a cost of £6.95 per item. The gift-wrap option appears before you add your product to cart.

There’s nothing on the Gift Registry to suit my budget. Can I purchase a Gift Card instead?

At this time, Gift Cards are not available online or via our registry service but may be purchased in store for any amount.
